 Two antennas: one facing forward, one behind. Front antennas only.
  • Tells Radar Location?
 2Yes; red arrows indicate "Ahead," "Beside," or "Behind." NO.
  • Tells how many signals?
 Yes; illuminated digital display. NO (some Escort® and BELTRONICS™ models let you squint at small marks and attempt your own count).
  • Windshield mount adjusts for angle of glass?
 Takes one finger: 15 angle positions available with one press of adjuster tab. Bend mount or use screwdriver: Escort and BELTRONICS models have simplified copy of V1’s mount with only four positions.
  • Windshield mount releases from glass?
 Takes one finger: just press release bar. Escort and BELTRONICS models claim “quick release.” In fact, the detector quickly releases from the mount, but you still must use your fingernails to get the mount’s suction cups off the glass.
  • Lighter Adapter can't jiggle out of lighter socket.
 Yes: locks itself in. Maybe; held by friction.
  • Power cord can't jiggle out of Lighter Adapter?
 Yes: locks itself in. Maybe; held by friction

  • Power cord can't jiggle out of detector.
