Concealed Display Kit
A big step toward privacy ...
Tired of other drivers crowding up behind you so they
can live off your detector warnings? Or maybe you just
prefer to keep a low profile. Here's a way to move
all of V1's visual warnings to a remote location
others can't see, but you can.
The Concealed Display Kit (optional) makes Valentine One less noticeable to
others outside your car. It allows you to operate Valentine One with its lights
blacked out, yet have a fully operational display module down low in the car
where it's not visible outside.
INSTALLATION: Using Lighter Adapter
- Slide Lighter Adapter (V1 symbol must be "up") into
cavity on back of Concealed Display Module.
- Connect V1 ACC on Lighter Adapter to Concealed Display
with 3-inch cord.
- Adjust angle on Lighter Adapter, then insert Lighter
Adapter into lighter socket.
- Run the power cord from the Main Unit jack on the
Lighter Adapter to Valentine One.
- To operate, adjust Control Knob and Control Lever on
Valentine One to your desired settings.

Do not use Direct-wire Power Adapter
with the Lighter Adapter.

Changing the Fuse
Engage a screwdriver in slitted metal tip of lighter
adapter, press in, and turn clockwise until metal tip can
be removed. Fuse is under metal tip. Use a 1 amp. 5mm x 20mm
fuse.

INSTALLATION: Using Dual Lock
- Slide Dual Lock backplate into position on back of
Concealed Display Module.
- Adhere a square of Dual Lock in the desired mounting
location and attach Display Module.
- Install Direct-Wire Power Adapter (follow instructions
in the Owner's Manual).
- Run a power cord from the modular jack labeled
"Accessory" on the Direct-wire Power Adapter to the
modular jack on the Display Module.
- Run a power cord from Modular jack labeled "Main Unit"
on the Direct-wire Power Adapter to the Main Unit.
- To operate, adjust Control Knob and Control Lever on
Main Unit to desired settings. Use switch on Display
Module to transfer warning lights from Main Unit to
Display Module.
