In 1974, I left home for military service. My Dad, a truck driver, handed me a box, saying I would need this because I drive like my Mom.
It was an ugly tin box with one red light on it and an on-off knob. My Fuzzbuster and I took the trip from New England to Texas. That ol’ box lit up many times on the highway and it made a believer out of me. So, over the 70’s and 80’s, I tried out many new brands. Then I used Escorts during the 90’s. Around 2000, I rode with a buddy who had a V1 and I commented that, around town, he had no false alarms where I was used to getting them by the dozens in the same area. He told me that, even better, V1’s long-distance detection was unbeatable.
So, I bought my first V1 24 years ago. My fault that one went bad; had it on my Goldwing in the rain. I replaced it with my current V1 Gen1; still works great but the time has come to use your trade-in program for a V1 Gen2. Thank you for years of excellent detection.
