I was driving into Indianapolis on I-65 on my way to Des Moines when I got the Indy Welcome, a big ka-band hit, with the counter showing three ahead.
Naturally I slowed and moved to the middle lane. Almost immediately I saw two Indiana troopers oncoming in the opposite roadway. The V1 count after they passed: two behind and one still ahead.
I stayed legal in the middle lane and, sure enough, beyond a rise and after a curve, hidden until we were upon him, was the third state trooper, just like V1 said.
