I just wanted to tell you that I love my V1–it has served me well for years.
It saved me in the wee hours as I was coming back from Madison, Wisconsin. I topped a hill and got a full-frontal blast. Outside was pitch black and LEO was lights off. I spiked the brakes.
Sure enough, the trooper pulled out and followed me for five miles. When he did finally pull me over, his first words were “either you have amazing reflexes, or you have a really good radar detector.”
I’d like to believe it’s a little of both. I left without a ticket as he didn’t get an accurate read on my speed.
