I was traveling east on Interstate 86 between Jamestown and Salamanca, NY. About 10 miles from Salamanca, just crossing the Kanzua bridge, my V1 Gen 2 piped up giving me about a half mile notice. I know that the Seneca Nation police sit at the top of the Quaker Lake exit ramp facing east, so there is no way you can see them, and they shoot you from behind. Without my V1 I would have never known he was there.
As I throttle back a bit, a silver Ford pickup blows by me going at least 85-90. I’m thinking, this guy is going to have a problem in about 10 seconds.
Yep. I looked in my side mirror and here comes the patroller hustling down the ramp. He was flying but the speeder by now has a mile head start. Three or four miles later I come upon the patroller and the miscreant on the side of the road. My V1 saved me again, and would have saved the Ford driver if he had one.
I’ve owed three Valentine detectors and traded in my oldest one toward my newest V1 Gen 2. There has never been a single problem with any of them.
