I was in my Bimmer on the way home about midnight. We have a main street, posted at 60, within the city limits, and it’s heavily patrolled. There is a single red light at a four-way intersection. I was within arguing range of the posted limit when the light turned yellow. I carefully looked both ways. Nobody on the road. So the question was; gun it or hit the binders? I dropped a gear with the intent beating the light. Almost instantly, V1 Gen2 hit me with a mid-strength Ka from a city LEO sitting about 400 feet past the intersection. New plan! Let ABS handle it. If V1 hadn’t been on the case I could have been nabbed for 20-over and possibly a red-light ticket too. Thanks, Valentine!
